Office of Pastoral Care
At Good Samaritan Hospital, we value the importance of spirituality and religion in the healing process. The Office of Pastoral Care is a spiritual resource during any patient's stay. Our hospital chaplaincy, responsible for the care of all of our patients, is directed by Fr. Jerry Anderson, an Episcopal priest. Also on staff full-time is Fr. Dennis Gallo, C.M.F., a Roman Catholic priest fluent in both English and Spanish. Fr. Stephen Kim (an Episcopal priest), The Rev. Sam Joung (a Presbyterian minister), and several volunteers provide pastoral care to our Korean-speaking patients. Attempts will be made to meet the requests of patients speaking other languages or representing other faith traditions.
