The Davajan-Cabal
Perinatal Center, a Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital,
pampers expectant mothers. Labor, delivery and recovery (LDR) rooms are
attractive, spacious and private. The hospital also provides soothing
labor tubs and allows delivery by midwives. As a special treat for the
families of newborns, CyberNursery posts
photos for retrieval (with parental consent).
Prospective parents are encouraged to schedule classes to help prepare
them for the joys and challenges of delivery and newborn care. These
classes are offered in many languages, including English, Spanish and
Korean.
Premature or sick babies are carefully tended - and receive the highest
level of care -- in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Special Services
The hospital provides special services, including:
- Assisted reproductive services,
in-vitro fertilization for couples who experience difficulty conceiving;
- High-risk pregnancy services;
- Cancers of the reproductive system;
