Laboratory
Good Samaritan's Laboratory Department offers a full-range of laboratory/pathology services, including:
- Full automation
- Real-time reporting
- Hemapheresis/blood
donor center
- Anatomic pathology services are located on the second floor of the hospital. Outpatient services are available daily, from 8 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Routine outpatient laboratory tests do not need to be scheduled. However, bone marrow examinations and glucose tolerance tests must be scheduled in advance. The laboratory requires written physician orders, which may be faxed.

Blood Donors are always needed. You can make a difference in someone's
life through a volunteer blood or platelet donation. Give the "gift of
life" at the Roy E. Thomas Blood Donor Center, located at:

Blood donors may park in the parking garage located at the corner of Witmer and Shatto or in the Witmer Street lot. Parking is validated for donors only.
If your physician allows it, you may make an autologous donation of your own blood for future use.
