The Community Outreach Center is pleased to offer several classes and events to the community, FREE of charge.

Diabetes Program

(4 week Session)
The Diabetes classes give you the information you need to control your blood sugars to reduce and to prevent complications of diabetes. Do you need a meter? We can provide one for you at no cost. We will train you.

Heart Help Program

(5 week Session)
If you are overweight, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and/or not physically active, this program is for you.

Infant CPR Class

This class is offered to any new or expecting parents who have had there baby or are planning to have their baby at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Participants will watch an American Heart Association video that explains and demonstrates the skill required to perform Infant CPR. Each participant will also be given time to practice these skills on the manikin provided for them.

Topics: Assessing the victim ● Calling for HELP ● Pushing on the chest ● Breathing for the victim ● Clearing the airway for a choking victim ● SIDS prevention
